How tall are they, really?
Mid-calf. Pulled up they reach the lower calf, a few inches above the ankle bone. They sit inside a boot shaft and they are not a knee sock. Scrunched down they sit at the ankle.
Thick or thin?
Thick. The inside is looped like a towel and the outside is a ribbed knit. They are made for boots, slippers and bare floors. In a snug sneaker they will feel tight.
Do I get to pick the colors?
No, and that is the point. Every pack is the full five-shade set: black, chocolate, camel, taupe and oat. The 10-pack is two of each, the 15-pack is three of each.

Are they 100% cotton?
No. They are a cotton-blend knit: cotton for softness, plus stretch fibers for shape, which is what keeps the cuff up wash after wash.
